(Athens, GA) August 8, 2018-Coldwell Banker Commercial Upchurch Realty’s agent Roby Redwine, 2018 Chairman of the Athens Area Association of Realtors’ Commercial and Land Forum, hosted the August 2018 Commercial and Land Forum monthly meeting at the AAAR board office on Wednesday, August 8. Over 30 real estate professionals attended the meeting to listen to guest speaker, Ryan Moore, current Director of Economic Development for Athens-Clarke County. Moore presented community and development updates for ongoing projects the county is currently assisting businesses with, including the Department’s work with seventeen new employment opportunities so far this year that will provide roughly 2,500 jobs. Moore also introduced the new Economic Development website whyathensga.com and Robin Bloss, Economic Developments new Development Coordinator.
