CBC Upchurch Realty Hires Chris Garmon

(Athens, GA) April 22, 2019- This month Coldwell Banker Commercial Upchurch Realty welcomed Christopher Garmon to come on board as a Commercial Agent. Garmon is new to the Real Estate business aside from personal investments, but brings many skills to the table from his farming and construction background. Garmon’s farming background ranges from 20+ years of managing registered and commercial cattle, bee keeping, hay producing, pig seed stock producing, barn demo and construction, equipment operating, and more! His construction skills include grading, site management, framing, plumbing, electrical, demolition, flooring, and tree removal. Garmon enjoys dancing, reading, cooking, knitting, and candle making in his free time. He was even a dance instructor for Dancing with the Stars of Athens in 2009! When working with clients, Chris says his goal is to “always to be my client’s agent and not their salesman”. His market specialties are farm and land, and he uses his experience to advise clients in an honest manner. Garmon believes that his vast experience in construction, buying, and selling gives him “an insight into potential hidden costs and problems that only years of hands-on personal experience can provide”. When buying and selling, Garmon believes it is important to “know your market first” and “invest time to know what your final goal is”.
