REDWINE WRAPS UP HIS YEAR AS AAAR’S COMMERCIAL/LAND’S CHAIRMAN

(Athens, GA) November 16, 2018-Coldwell Banker Commercial Upchurch Realty’s agent Roby Redwine has served as the 2018 Chairman of Athens Area Association of Realtors’ Commercial/Land Forum this year. During his year of service, Redwine’s responsibilities included researching relevant topics and scheduling guest speakers to better inform Athens Area Commercial professionals. Roby steadily increased meeting attendance by bringing in presenters such as Mayor Elect Kelly Girtz, Georgia Power representatives, and affiliate panels comprised of real estate attorneys and lending professionals.

When asked about Redwine’s year of leadership, Chief Executive Officer Lauren Daniel comments, “The Board and Staff of AAAR® sincerely appreciates the hard work and leadership Roby has shown by chairing the Commercial/Land Forum this year.  The meetings ran smoothly, were well attended, and the topics were diverse and informative- adding value for attendees each month.  He did a great job of getting breakfast sponsored for each meeting which is always appreciated!  All the feedback we’ve received has been positive, and we’re actually sad that his tenure is over!  Thanks, Roby, for a job well done!”

This month Redwine wraps up his tenure heading AAAR’s Commercial/Land Forum. He is to be succeeded by Robert Jahn of Cardinal Real Estate Advisors. Redwine reflects on the year and says, “We were fortunate to have a successful year growing the forum with a number of informative guest speakers as well as highly appreciated sponsors. We could not have achieved the success that we enjoyed without the unwavering support of both Lauren Daniel and Andrea Swilley at the Board office, as well as Katie Reeves at Coldwell Banker Commercial Upchurch Realty. It is my hope that the membership will continue to support the incoming Chairman Robert Jahn as they have supported me.”
